The Washburn Ichabods sit atop the NABC Division II men's basketball rankings for the fourth consecutive week. Their unblemished 21-0 record (12-0 in the MIAA) has earned them near-unanimous praise, garnering 15 of the 16 first-place votes in this week's poll. Only Daemen (N.Y.), also undefeated at 19-0, prevented a clean sweep, claiming the remaining first-place vote and the No. 2 spot.
This sustained dominance marks a significant period in the program's history. The Ichabods have now spent ten straight weeks in the top five, a first for the program, and have tied a school record by remaining in the top five for five consecutive polls. They are one of just two remaining undefeated teams in Division II, alongside Daemen.
Washburn will look to continue their impressive run this Saturday when they host Central Missouri in Lee Arena at 3 p.m.
