Eveything You Need to Know About the 52nd Annual AAU Volleyball National Championships

The 52nd AAU Girls Junior National Volleyball Championships are set to take place in June 2025 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This prestigious event will host thousands of young athletes from across the nation, competing for top honors in their respective age divisions.

Event Waves and Schedule:

The tournament is organized into four waves, each featuring specific age groups:

• Wave 1: 10U, all 11U, all 12U, all 13U, and 18U Open and Premier divisions.

  • Check-in: June 12, 2025

  • Competition Dates: June 13–16, 2025

• Wave 2: All 14U, 15 Open, and 18 Club and Classic divisions.

  • Check-in: June 16, 2025

  • Competition Dates: June 17–20, 2025

• Wave 3: 16 Open, Premier, Club, Aspire, Select, and all 17U divisions.

  • Check-in: June 20, 2025

  • Competition Dates: June 21–24, 2025

• Wave 4: 15 Premier, Club, Aspire, Classic, Spirit, Select, Elite, and 16 Classic, Spirit, Elite divisions.

  • Check-in: June 24, 2025

  • Competition Dates: June 25–28, 2025

Please note that athletes are permitted to compete in only one wave, and no practice times will be available at the convention center. Additionally, all teams must compete in their designated age division; playing up is not allowed. International teams will not be permitted to participate in the 2025 championships.

Special Initiatives and Events:

In alignment with the AAU Cares initiative, the tournament will feature "Dig Pink" days to support breast cancer research through the Side-Out Foundation. Participants are encouraged to wear pink on the following dates:

• Wave 1: Friday, June 14

• Wave 2: Tuesday, June 18

• Wave 3: Saturday, June 22

• Wave 4: Wednesday, June 26

These efforts aim to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research during the championships.

The AAU will also host a coach’s seminar on June 22 at 4 p.m., featuring four-time Olympian and 2008 Olympic gold medalist Lloy Ball, along with Team Pineapple VBC's head recruiting coordinator Kourtney Crawford. This seminar offers valuable insights into coaching and recruiting best practices.
